A summary of Brooke's qualifications and experience:
Brooke completed her degree in Occupational Therapy at Curtin University. Since graduating Brooke has predominately worked for a paediatric non-for profit organisation working with children in foster care. She has developed skills in a range of paediatric therapies including sensory processing, childhood mental wellbeing, parent/carer and child attachment, new mother education and school readiness.
Brooke's special interests and passions:
Brooke has a broad range of skills and experiences and is able to provide a full range of paediatric OT services. Her specialist skills and interests lie in sensory processing and childhood mental health.
Reason for loving what you do:
When we asked Brooke the reason she loves her job she said, "I believe childhood is one of the most influential stages of human life, a period which can really impact on a childs' health and wellbeing trajectory. Therefore I love being able to help children and their families develop their functional motor skills, social and emotional skills to engage in life to their fullest potential."
