The following games and activities provide the opportunity to develop visual memory and visual sequential memory. When using games like this it's important to identify strategies that are helpful very explicitly for the child. For example, if they have to remember 5 things they could 'notice' that there are 3 red things and 2 yellow things, or they could put them in a specific left to right order. Have the child tell you how they're going to remember, how they are going to organise their thinking. What's their plan?
