We have established a range of Specialised Programs to address identified needs:
Babies on the Move: Group Sessions for babies from 3 months of age focusing on developing early language, sensory, motor and play skills.
Mealtime Management Team: Members of our team with specialised skills and experience provide comprehensive assistance to children and families experiencing difficulties associated with eating and drinking.
Sensory Motor Gym: Fully equipped gym available to provide currently recognised treatment to facilitate motor learning.
Pre-Primary Programme : We have developed a six week programme for use in pre-school classrooms in collaboration with the class teacher. This programme focuses on identifying and developing sensori-motor skills as necessary pre-requisites for Year 1, especially correct directionality for writing.
Computer Options: For development of children's visual perception and written expression (e.g. to assist children with handwriting difficulties).
School Holiday Programmes: A range of programmes available for different age groups and needs.
School Screening Services: Brief assessments for children who teachers and parents would like checked. Home and classroom recommendations provided.
Parent and Teacher Workshops: We provide regular workshops to parents and teachers at schools and at our centre. Information presented is tailored to specific requests.
Group Therapy Programmes: Various groups are run for children of all ages and include a combination of OT, Physiotherapy, and/or Speech Therapy, as per the idenitified needs.
Sensory Diets: And various other interventions for children who have difficulty processing sensory input.
Evaluation of Learning and Attention: Formal testing available for diagnosis of Attention Deficit Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Learning Difficulties, behavioral and social issues.
